Overview

I am an economist, educator, and policy scholar whose work focuses on globalization, international trade, economic justice, institutional legitimacy, and public policy.

My professional career spans more than four decades in financial services and over twenty-five years of international leadership experience, including assignments in Boston, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

In addition to teaching and research, I am the author of Reflections on Policy, Economics, and Society, a weekly publication reaching more than 27,000 readers worldwide.


Global Leadership Experience

Over a forty-year career in financial services, I held leadership positions at Wellington Management, including assignments in Boston, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. My responsibilities included international business development, organizational leadership, operational risk management, regulatory oversight, globalization initiatives, and strategic planning across North America, Europe, and Asia.
